Arenz GmbH has more than 40 years of experience in the design of screw geometries for customer-specific applications in the extrusion and injection moulding market.
Optimised manufacturing process
MUsing the simulation software which was developed jointly with a German university the influencing variables and their impact on the extrusion or injection moulding process may be rapidly recognised, assessed and subsequently optimised.
We can make statements about the following:
- pressure and throughput calculation
- melting calculation
- temperature course calculation
- performance history calculation
- dwell time calculation
- mixed variables calculation
- feeding process calculation

Optimisation process
The optimisation process takes place as follows:
- gathering of customer requirements
- recording of the actual states of all relevant parameters using the checklist developed by us (plastic, manfacturing process, material combination, screw - cylinder)
- simulation of the actual state and reproduction of the complete process using our software
- development and calculation of the new screw geometry
- presentation of the optimised screw
- manufacture of the new screw
